This year, our network members and suppliers from around the world gathered in Rome, Italy for our Global Rendezvous. We had an amazing lineup of speakers: Alex Hunter wowed us with his insights on creating unforgettable experiences, sponsored by Travelport; Scott Jordan from Delta Air Lines shared the latest trends in the airline industry; and Sascha Vylders from Amadeus gave us a fascinating look at how AI is changing the game.
But the event was about so much more than just presentations. We heard from a panel of our top-performing members and most importantly, engaged in a lot of networking. The Rendezvous Challenge, sponsored by United Airlines, gave us a chance to explore the eternal city of Rome in a fun and interactive way.

John L. Henry Whatever it Takes Award

The John L. Henry Whatever It Takes Award celebrates those who embody a “Whatever It Takes” attitude within our Uniglobe family. In recognition of his commitment to this ethos, the award was renamed in honour of John L. Henry after his passing in 2013.
Ankur Khurana of Uniglobe Mod Travel, India, is this year’s deserving recipient. Ankur not only mentors and guides his colleagues but also drives significant positive changes at Uniglobe Mod Travel. From enhancing employee productivity to implementing innovative marketing strategies, Ankur ensures success by doing “Whatever It Takes.” Congratulations, Ankur, on receiving this well-deserved recognition!
Lifetime Achievement Award
Marie Magliano
This year, we presented the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award to Marie Magliano for her long-term involvement and commitment to the Uniglobe organization. As an agency owner, she not only achieved success for her own business but also supported fellow agency owners with advice and guidance.
Marie’s grace and integrity reflect Uniglobe’s values, and although she is preparing to retire, she ensures her business stays within the Uniglobe family by selling to her partners. Congratulations, Marie, on this well-deserved recognition!
Performance Excellence Award
The Uniglobe Mod Travel Team
Uniglobe’s Performance Excellence Award is given to an individual, team or agency who has achieved performance excellence in growth through sales, revenue, accounts or transactions.
Congratulations to Uniglobe Mod Travel for winning this award! The team’s dedication and hard work led to increased revenues by empowering travel counselors, boosting productivity, and streamlining operations. Their focus on sales and processes also secured 40 new corporate accounts, achieving an outstanding 115% performance compared to last year. Great job!
TMC of the Year
Uniglobe Gemini Travel
Our most prestigious award, the Uniglobe TMC of the Year, is awarded to one TMC who is a role model of success, based on their performance, dedication, collaboration, and contribution within Uniglobe and the industry. One TMC is nominated for each region based on specific criteria and a recommendation letter from the Region.
Congratulations Uniglobe Gemini Travel! This TMC embraces the true spirit of being an entrepreneur. They are loyal supporters of Uniglobe and utilize the various programs and technologies to successfully manage their business.
